Let's grow the future together" is the slogan launched by the UN for the celebration, on Monday 17 June, of the 25th World Day against Desertification. In the framework of Maya Project Erasmus+ (Master in Agricultural and hYdrological Approaches to a better sustainable development) and Ilham-Ec (Interuniversity Learning in Higher education on Advanced land Management) ERASMUS + projects, NRD-UNISS, is organizing an international event including scientific contributions, visit to the experimental field of Ottava and the screening of "Domani" at the Cityplex Moderno (18h30 free admission). The event is organized in partnership with Festival Pensieri e Parole. Libri e Film all'Asinara, Moderno S.R.L. and Fridays For Future - Sassari, committee (students inspired by Greta Thunberg).
The scientific session of the meeting focuses on desertification, water and climate change adaptation with contributions from Tunisian, Italian, Lebanese, and French researchers and professors, dealing with climate change, water, agriculture and drought.
